Under the Northern Sky is a guided evening experience combining northern flavours, Arctic culture and the mountain landscape surrounding Björkliden.

The evening begins in Rakkaskåtan (a traditional-style cabin), where you will gather around the fire and enjoy a dinner inspired by the flavours of northern

Sweden. Your local guide will accompany you throughout the evening, sharing stories and knowledge about the Arctic and the Northern Lights.

After dinner, we head out into the surrounding mountain landscape for an easy evening walk beneath the Arctic sky. Your guide will introduce you to the Northern Lights and explain what causes this natural phenomenon and what conditions are needed to see it. On clear nights, you may be lucky enough to see the aurora dancing above the mountains.

The evening ends back in Rakkaskåtan, where you can warm up by the fire and enjoy a comforting cup of hot chocolate. The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and sightings cannot be guaranteed, but the experience of the quiet
Arctic landscape at night is an adventure in itself.

• Minimum age: Children aged 12 and over are warmly welcome to participate, but must always be accompanied by at least one paying parent/adult.

Warm clothes
The experience takes place outdoors in the Arctic mountain environment, where weather conditions can change quickly. Please arrive at least 10 minutes before the start time to get your warm Arctic clothes from us.

The Northern Lights are a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed. Our focus is on creating a memorable Arctic evening regardless of whether the aurora appears.
