Introduktionskurs till en naturnära och rofylld vinteraktivitet!

Den här upplevelsen riktar sig till dig som aldrig provat turskidor tidigare och vill lära dig grunderna i trygg och inspirerande miljö, eller till dig som åkt tidigare men behöver en genomgång i de tekniska grunderna. Tillsammans med våra guider får du en genomgång av utrustningen, hur skidorna fungerar, och lär dig enkla tekniker för att ta dig fram i både flack och kuperad terräng. Vi övar på balans, framåtdriv, hur du tar dig uppför backar och – inte minst – hur du bromsar och kontrollerar farten i nedförslut.

Efter den grundläggande tekniken beger vi oss ut på en kortare tur i det magiska vinterlandskapet kring Björkliden. Med fjällen som kuliss och tystnaden som sällskap får du uppleva naturen på ett helt nytt sätt – på skidor som är byggda för att ta dig utanför de preparerade spåren.

Oavsett om ditt mål är framtida vinteräventyr, fjällturer eller bara en härlig dag i naturen är detta en inspirerande och trygg start. Välkommen att upptäcka glädjen och friheten med nordiska turskidor!

NORDIC TOURING SKIS FOR BEGINNERS
An introductory course to a peaceful and nature-filled winter adventure!

This experience is designed for those who have never tried backcountry (Nordic touring) skis before and want to learn the basics in a safe and inspiring environment. It’s also perfect for those who have tried it once or twice and want a refresher on the core techniques.

Together with our guides, you’ll get an introduction to the equipment, how the skis work, and learn simple techniques for moving through both flat and hilly terrain. We’ll practice balance, forward motion, how to climb gentle slopes – and most importantly – how to slow down and control your speed on the way down.

Once you’ve gotten comfortable with the basics, we’ll head out on a short tour into the magical winter landscape around Björkliden. With the mountains as your backdrop and the silence of nature as your companion, you’ll experience the Arctic wilderness in a whole new way – on skis built to take you beyond the groomed trails.

Participants: Minimum 3 people, maximum 8 people
